The present continuous           We usually use continuous verb forms to talk about things that are in progress; temporary or unfinished. We use the present continuous for things that: 1-      Are happening at the moment of speaking:    Ex: My brothers are playing foot-ball. 2-      Are temporary and happening around now, but maybe not at the moment of speaking:  ex: Now I'm looking for my job. 3-      An action in progress.  Ex : are you still working for the same company?.  We make the Present continuous with: - positive form:         Subject+be+verb+ing Ex: I'm playing chess at the moment. The Present Perfect The Present Perfect FORM [Has/have + past participle] Examples: Positive Negative Question I have walk ed. I have not walk ed. Have I walk ed ? Use : The Present Perfect is used to indicate a link between the present and the past. The time of the action is before now but not specified , and we are often more interested in the result  than in the action itself. Unspecified Time before Now: We use the Present Perfect to say that an action happened at an unspecified time before now. The exact time is not important. Experience : We use the Present Perfect to talk about experiences in life until now.   It is like saying, "I have the experience of..." The present Perfect Continuous   Use: 1-Actions that started in the past and continue to the present : For longer actions that started in the past and continue to the present: Ex: Mark has been working in Canada for Five years. 2- Actions that have recently stopped  : For longer actions that have recently finished, but have a result in the present: Ex: Today I have been walking around the garden area of the city, and I’m both exhausted and exhilarated by the experience. 3- Temporaire actions and situations  : For actions that happened repeatedly in the past and till happen in the present: EX: I have been coming to the UK for nearly 20 years. Simple Future has two different forms in English: " will " and " be going to ." Although the two forms can sometimes be used interchangeably, they often express two very different meanings. These different meanings might seem too abstract at first, but with time and practice, the differences will become clear. Both "will" and "be going to" refer to a specific time in the future. We use the simple future for: ·   A decision at the moment of speaking: A: 'I'm cold'. B: 'I will close the window'. ·   Prediction based on opinion: I think the Conservatives will win the next election. ·   A future fact: The sun will rise at 7am. ·   Promises / requests / refusal / willingness: I'll help you with your work.
